Photo data

  • Photos are processed locally on your hardware — we do not upload photos to our servers unless you explicitly use the QR sharing feature
  • Shared photos are stored temporarily on our servers and expire after 24 hours

5. Data Retention

  • Transaction records are retained for 7 years for legal and tax compliance
  • Shared photos expire and are deleted after 24 hours with no backup
  • Device registration data is deleted when you delink the device
  • Support communication logs are retained for 2 years

  • All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text
  • Auth tokens are cryptographically random and session-bound

PICABOT's web portal uses browser localStorage to store your authentication token for session persistence. This is essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising trackers. The only data stored locally is your auth token, which is tied to your session.

PICABOT is operated from India. Your data is stored on servers located in India. If you access our services from outside India, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country with different privacy laws than your home country.

By using our services, you consent to this transfer. We ensure adequate protections are in place for any cross-border transfers.

PICABOT is a professional business tool not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
