Getting Started

What are the system requirements for PICABOT?
Minimum: Windows 10 (64-bit), Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB RAM, 4GB storage, 1080p display, USB camera (any webcam).

Recommended: Windows 11, Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM, SSD storage, 1920×1080 display, Sony / Canon DSLR or high-quality USB camera, dedicated GPU for smoother effects.
How do I install PICABOT?
1. Download the latest PICABOT installer from your account dashboard
2. Run the installer as Administrator
3. Follow the installation wizard
4. Launch PICABOT and log in with your picabot.club account
5. Your device will be automatically registered on first login
How do I connect my account to the app?
Log in to picabot.club/account, go to the Profile section, and copy your Auth Token. In the PICABOT desktop app, go to Settings → Account → paste the Auth Token. The app will verify the token and link your device automatically.
Can I use PICABOT on multiple computers?
Each account supports 1 registered device at a time. To use PICABOT on a different machine, log in to your account, go to the Device section, and click "Delink Device" — then log in on the new computer. For true multi-device setups, create separate accounts for each booth.

Features & Pricing

What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free includes: 1080p capture, local saving, basic templates, kiosk mode, mock payment gateway, QR sharing with watermarks.

Pro adds: 4K camera support, watermark removal, live Razorpay payment processing, white-label customization, priority support, and a commercial license.
How does QR sharing work?
After a photo session, PICABOT uploads the final photo to our servers and generates a unique QR code. The customer scans the QR code with their phone to download the photo directly. Shared photos are automatically deleted from our servers after 24 hours. Free plan photos include a PICABOT watermark; Pro removes all watermarks.
Can I use PICABOT without internet?
Yes! Core features (capture, print, local save) work offline. You need internet for: initial device registration, subscription validation (checked periodically), QR photo sharing, and Razorpay payment processing. If connectivity is lost, PICABOT gracefully disables cloud features and continues operating locally.

Technical Support

My camera is not detected. What should I do?
1. Make sure the camera is connected via USB and powered on
2. Check Windows Device Manager for any driver errors
3. For DSLR cameras, install the manufacturer's Windows driver (Canon EOS Utility, Sony Imaging Edge, etc.)
4. In PICABOT Settings → Camera, click "Refresh" to rescan for devices
5. If using a USB 3.0 camera, try a different USB port
6. Restart PICABOT after confirming the camera is visible in Windows
My printer is not printing. How do I fix it?
1. Ensure the printer is set as the Default Printer in Windows
2. Check that the correct paper size is loaded and matches your template
3. In PICABOT Settings → Printer, select your printer and adjust DPI settings
4. Try a test print from Windows to confirm the printer is working
5. For DNP/Citizen/Sinfonia printers, ensure the manufacturer driver (not generic) is installed
The app is slow or laggy. How do I improve performance?
1. Close other applications to free up RAM
2. Lower the camera preview resolution in Settings
3. Disable effects/filters if you don't need them
4. Ensure your antivirus is not scanning PICABOT files in real-time (add an exclusion)
5. Set PICABOT.exe to "High Performance" power plan in Windows
6. Upgrade RAM to 16GB for smoother 4K operations (Pro plan)

Billing & Account

How do I upgrade to Pro?
Currently, Pro subscriptions are managed by our team. Contact us at info@picabot.club with your account email and desired plan (monthly/yearly). We'll process your subscription and activate Pro features within 24 hours.
What happens if my subscription expires?
Your account automatically reverts to the Free plan. You retain all your data (transactions, coupons, templates). Pro features — 4K capture, live payments, watermark removal — will be disabled until you renew. No data is deleted when a subscription expires.
How do I delete my account?
Send an account deletion request to info@picabot.club from your registered email address. We'll process the deletion within 7 business days. Note: transaction records required for tax compliance are retained for 7 years per our Privacy Policy.
